Meet the people behind Glasgow Waters.

The Glasgow Waters team are based at 16 Robertson Street, a building steeped in the history of the Clyde.

Brian and Gemma are passionate about the both the heritage of the area and the exciting regeneration that’s now underway.

How long have you worked at Peel?

I started in July 2008 – just coming up on 17 Years!

What are your key responsibilities?

Working with key stakeholders to deliver the Masterplan, day to day management of the property portfolio, overall responsibility for the Glasgow Waters and Scotland portfolio in terms of development and investment.

What do you like best about your role?

Variety, everyday is different and with a huge portfolio there are opportunities to enhance the neighbourhoods and deliver top class developments. The scope of the portfolio includes listed buildings, residential development plots, long term industrial assets etc and as such gives a huge range of challenges and opportunities.

How do the central Peel Waters support you?

We are supported by the Peel Waters central team across marketing, finance, legal and health & safety.

How long have you worked at Peel?

Started with Clydeport in February 1998, so total time with the company is 27 years.

What are your key responsibilities?

With only two of us in West of Scotland we do everything between us, my areas are mainly all invoicing, purchase orders and matching and approving all utilities, organising H&S and contractors for all sites, diaries and all correspondence, plus keeping info updated on all systems.

What do you like best about your role? 

The variety, every day is different, whatever needs to be done we just get on with it.
